“By The Time I Make Albuquerque”…I will have had breakfast (with a nod to Glen Campbell)

It was a very cool morning in Sante Fe, and hot coffee helped take the chill off. But is was the late breakfast we had in Placitas NM at the High Point Plaza with John’s friend Jim Levandowski that we really looked forward to. Jim is a retired engineer living in the area, and a fellow Factory Five fan. Jim brought his own Factory Five car to the breakfast meet along with several of his other car friends. Only one other ventured out with their project car as it was quite a windy day, but Jim did bring his Factory Five ’33 Ford Coupe replica. Jim has done a masterful job with the build, and incorporated many custom fabrication touches that make the car a very special build. We had a great time visiting with the group, and shared our mission of raising monies for the charities we are representing on this drive. After our visit, Jim guided us to the route 25 entrance to send us on our way to Albuquerque. The scenery along our route was once again spectacular, and we look forward to more tomorrow as we head to Holbrook, AZ by way of the Petrified Forest. Stay tuned for more adventures, and don’t forget to share our website with others encouraging them to support the cause.
